The High Knob Destination Center, located in the City of Norton, serves as a gateway to the High Knob Region. The center offers information and programming that highlight the recreational, ecological, historic, and cultural sites and opportunities in the region.

The High Knob Destination Center’s Exhibit Room highlights the High Knob Region’s communities, outdoor recreation sites and trails, culture, history, and rich biodiversity. Local photographers contributed many of the photos featured in the space, and the exhibits provide a great introduction to the region.

Check out our retail space! From souvenirs from your adventures around the area to nature guides, maps, and journals to supplies needed for your trip up the mountain, you can find it here!

We are happy to accommodate schools, Girl/Boy scout groups, homeschool groups, and others for Field Trips or other Outreach. Whether you want us to come to you or you want to explore the Center, we can spend time learning about the natural world of the High Knob Region!
