The Norton Friends and Farmers Market is held every Tuesday June-September at the Norton Expo Center (115 8th St. SW) in downtown Norton. The market, which launched in 2009, focuses on contributing to the success of local food growers and producers, strengthening the community’s food economy, and serving as a community gathering place. The market averages 10+ vendors that bring a variety of produce, baked goods, dairy products, and crafts. Norton’s market is one of four farmers markets in the High Knob Region. Others include the Town of Wise Farmers Market, Town of Big Stone Gap Farmers Market, and Clinch River Farmers Market in St. Paul.
