Legion Park
Legion Park, located just outside downtown on State Route 619, serves as an access point to Flag Rock Recreation Area. A 1.4-mile trail climbs almost a thousand feet from the park into the recreation area. Built in May 1996, the park was formerly the home of the American Legion Hall. Historic stonework, including a wall and fireplace, is also present and is thought to have been built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The park can be reserved for a $20 fee. Amenities include a picnic shelter, picnic tables, grills, and a water fountain.
