Powell River Trail

This 3.4-mile (round-trip) paved rail-trail follows the Powell River and travels the abandoned L&N Railroad line. The trailhead is located in the Town of Appalachia. Open to foot traffic and bicycles. The trail will eventually link the towns of Appalachia and Big Stone Gap.
