The City of Norton, in conjunction with the Great American Cleanup, will offer an Adopt-A-Truck Large Item Pickup Program for residents free of charge. Residents may have large appliances, furniture, and other trash transported from their property to the proper disposal location from April 10-19. For large loads of trash and tree limbs, citizens may make special arrangements for a city truck to be parked overnight at their residence to be filled; a driver will return the following morning to dispose the truckload.
