Contest Details: Submit your best winter photos of the High Knob Region for a chance to win a prize! The contest starts Feb. 1, 2024 and ends Feb. 29, 2024. Contestants can submit one photo for consideration. Winners will be announced the week of March 11-15, 2024. Results will be posted to the city’s social media accounts and website. Prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners. Contest is sponsored by the City of Norton and High Knob Outdoor Fest.

Cost: Free to enter.

Contest Rules: All photo submissions must be the original work of the person submitting the photo. Photos must also be taken in the High Knob Region, which includes the City of Norton and Wise, Scott, and Lee counties. You must own the rights to the photo. Photos that a third party can control or own will not be accepted. Photo submissions also cannot infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person. By submitting photos for this contest, you also agree to allow the City of Norton to use your photo for advertising and marketing purposes.

Submission Guidelines: Photo submissions should be emailed to Katie Dunn, katied@nortonva.org. Photos can also be dropped off at Norton City Hall, 618 Virginia Ave. NW, during business hours (8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday). All submissions must include the following information: Name, residence (county/town, phone number, email address, and location where photo was taken).
