Join us for the annual Norton Holiday Market (4-7 p.m.) at the Norton Expo Center. Shop over 40 vendors with unique and handmade gifts! Also make plans to attend the Norton Christmas Tree Lighting at 6 p.m. in the Norton Municipal Parking Lot (adjacent to the Norton Expo Center). See below for a list of festivities to be held that evening. All activities, with the exception of the Christmas Tree Lighting, Pictures with Santa, and Caroling, will be held in the Norton Expo Center. • 4 p.m.: Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest: Open to all ages. Categories include Ugliest, Funniest, Best Handmade, Most Festive, Most Likely Belonged To Your Granny. Location: Main stage in Expo Center.
• 4:30 p.m.: Christmas Karaoke: Sing your favorite Christmas song! First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded in each age group. Children’s age groups include 0-4, 5-7, 8-10, 11-13, and 14-17. The adult category is open to ages 18 and older. Register at the main stage in the Expo Center before 4:30 p.m.
• 5 p.m.: Christmas Cookie Contest: Bring a batch of your best Christmas cookie recipe! Entries must be submitted before 5 p.m. at the main stage in the Expo Center. Winners will be announced at 5:30 p.m. Open to all ages.
• 5:30 p.m.: Caroling: Gather around the tree and listen to Christmas carols. Location: Norton Municipal Parking Lot.
• 6 p.m.: Tree Lighting & Pictures with Santa: The parade grand marshal and Storefront Decoration Contest winners will also be announced. Don’t miss Santa and Mrs. Claus as they make a stop in Norton! Location: Norton Municipal Parking Lot.
